Thank you very very much Richie for those lovely thoughts. I'm glad that some of my work inspires other's, just as other's have inspired myself. :)

    Hi Steve,
Thank you very much, I appreciate it :) I remember well over 40 something years ago, rolling plasticine and making soldier's in basic shapes and playing battles I saw on the tv. I'd stare forever at the airifx Napoleonics and WII in Ho scale and 1/32nd wishing I could make my own. And dream about being one of these people that sculpt and produce figure's as a job, instead going to school and getting a regular boring job. Well, it's somewhat come true, I'm getting to do it as a side gig, the hobby pays for itself and it brings joy to myself and even more importantly, to other's.

    Hi Pete,
The price will be £39 for Corporal J and £36 for the medic G, plus postage, which if it's to the UK, Europe or U.S is around £15. You'll save if you buy both as you'll pay the same price for both shipped as you would for one as it goes by weight.
    Cheers.

Great additions to what is an excellent sculpted collection of Dads Army busts. Well done Chris.

Probably not something I'd paint myself, but those likenesses are incredible.

Superb stuff Chris. I had the honour to meet John le Mesurier some time ago. The thing that impressed me was how tall he was. I'm 180cm and he towered over me. He was such a nice bloke, and came across as Sgt Wilson - I don't think he acted that part, he was just himself. Looking forward to the next instalment!

Hi Phil, thanks for the background storey of meeting him and his physical size. After sculpting his head a little while back I had thought that it seemed a little larger than the other two, and was thinking about resculpting it. I've since felt he was a larger build and that goes for his head as well, so thinking now it's probably more accurate and relative in size. I think when the modeller/collector displays these, they may want to add a little height to the bust when mounted to give that visual effect with the other characters.
