Discovered to my cost that owning an MGB Roadster was a rich man’s hobby – something I wasn’t then and am still not!

    Loving how this is progressing.

Ah, well, Mike, lots of fellas did turn to the "rice-burners", because they didn't leak for a hobby, and they had decent reliable performance. I went from a BSA 650 plunger to a Honda CB450 Black Bomber in 1966.....cracking machine, took my wife and I backwards and forwards to Aberystwyth from Epping several times without a squeak. Great times:D:p.

Managed to own one Japanese bike , like Alan, a CB450, which was ultra reliable. I had a Benelli 6 for a couple of months - awesome but complicated, and I'd have ended up broke (financially and physically) if I'd kept it. It went, and was replaced with an MGA 1600 Mk 2 roadster (should've kept that!)

Hi Folks, just some pics of the figures being fleshed out. Both balance well, so on with the detailing....(y)

Progress so far on these two "Sawdust Caesars". Almost done, just the zips and fastens to add on the jacket and parka, then a final tidy up and primer(y)

Yes, excellent. And a good show of what can be done with existing (diecasts) models, to make them into something much more interesting.

Good show, Steve - like your rendition of the loafers on the Mod, his parka looks excellent & the face looks slightly reminiscent of Phil Daniels in Quadrophenia (it's the hairstyle). Superb (y)

Thanks for the comments, guys. Just putting the finishing touches to the sculpts, then I need to wait for a decent day to get them all primed ready for paint......thats where the problem lies, as Ive not picked up a brush for almost 12 months!!(y)

Hi guys, I've returned to these on the back of completing the Morgan and have started to get some paint on the bike and scooter before attempting the riders. Steady progress so far, still much to do!
