Thanks for sharing the tutorial, a lot of good tips there, both for painting flesh, and for the detailing on her armor. That bit with the mesh cloth as masking is so simple and so brilliant. I've wanted to achieve a similar look for a piece of battle-damaged lamellar composite armor, and haven't been able to come up with an idea. I think I can steal that technique for what I want to do.

I also natural her face looks. A good number of Japanese painters also produce that kind of life-like result. I much prefer it to the harshly-shaded style that obtains here in the West, which some call, ironically, Kabuki-style. It might look good under a photographer's lights for box art, but it doesn't look real.

I'm translating his tips into 1/20 scale in my head...
