Excellent piece. Mounted troops of the Franco-Prussian War are a bit rare in any scale. I know there have been one or two in combat mode (and we all know how that turned out !), but studies like this are welcome, even if the scale will be a little small for me.

I am back with some pictures of the 3D printed think it worked out fine.
There is a 40mm and a 30 mm.
I will do some rework of the figure and try to do a 54 mm figure also.

I’d be very interested in your views on the quality of the detail given it’s started quite small and is getting larger (54mm). Usually it’s the other way around.

It’s a classic Détaillé picture and just cries out for someone talented to bring it to life as a larger model.
