I am pleased to announce the latest bust I am adding to my Sarnia Miniatures range, a return to the Dark Ages with a Viking Shield Maiden.

Recent archeological evidence demonstrates that women did fight alongside male Vikings, this bust depicts such a woman armed with a sword and a typical round shield on her back.

the kit has 6 parts: torso, shield, two fore-arms, pedestal base and a length of foil to make the strap for the shield.

Nap - yes, I'm back sculpting after being busy at work and diverted by my 'all encompassing WW1 diorama' which was a fun project. As well as some forthcoming busts I am starting another long-term 1/32 project which I'll start a thread about.
