    Calling the face done, don't want to mess to much more, else I will really mess it up. Did a bit more blending, added a bit of a dark glaze around his cheeks. Matt varnish on his face, semi and then gloss on his eyes and lips and a couple of spots of gloss for a bit of sweat. After a long patrol, it must have been melting inside that immersion suit.

    Found a Mk3c helmet for sale with a load of reference images, so should help in getting all the little bits painted in the right colours;

    The helmet with its reflective tape , makes it easier to see i suppose, god forbid, in search and rescue efforts.

    So how best to portray this on the figure, I could paint the stripe, after some masking but it wouldn't be 3 dimensional, so got out some masking tape and tried some 2mm 2mm, 3mm and 4mm. 3mm is about right, but painting it would be a pain. I rememberedTamiya make compound masking tape , for curves, in a white gloss material. So some 3mm tape has been ordered.
