This is one that I got to 90% finished and left on the bench. It was my first ( and so far only) attempt at mtp. The bust was from Mitches I think. I wasn't happy with the glasses or the right hand holding the GPMG. Nothing wrong with the sculpt but it it just want right for me. I also felt stumped with the scarf. I've gone over the detailing, deepening shadows and adding additional texture. I've repainted the glasses going from gloss black to what hopefully looks like a reflected image. I've tried to do an Afghan style pattern on the scarf rather than a generic shemagh (?) pattern. Im not sure what I think about it yet. I still want to do something with the hand but not holding a weapon. WP_20210410_15_11_28_Pro.jpg WP_20210410_15_11_39_Pro.jpg WP_20210410_15_11_50_Pro.jpg

    Nice painting.
The camo under the helmet netting is extremely well done.

I like the tea/coffee idea. I was thinking a bottle of water but that would be a nightmare to make. Ill make an Afghan style cup or pot. Cheers.

Try this company, excellent quality and hold their points really well, comparable in price to W&N brushes, and all hand made in the UK.
