I was fortunate to pick one of these up at the Atlanta show last month. Great sculpt with lots of detail.

Would be nice to have the option of purchasing the 3d print to print myself that way can print any scale and no postage or taxes.

Very nice piece but now a real pain buying anything outside the UK.

When you have the taxes to pay it is more, at least the taxes also include the customs duties, the basis of calculation is the object + the shipping costs, then the new basis for the VAT is the object + the postage + customs duties, and finally the delivery service takes its commission "customs clearance" (even if it does not) often between 15 and 20US $!

All that sounds very daunting, but there's no denying it is an excellent sculpt, beautifully painted and presented.(y)

From what little I've seen of his work, James Rice is a very fine painter but he doesn't seem to have a much of a profile in the hobby. I for one know nothing about him. Maybe he prefers it that way?

  11. Very nice figure, I agree with another poster, wish it was available in other scales. I currently only paint AWI but in 75mm. Otherwise I would purchase in a heartbeat!

I was just about to say the same thing as Steve; I have never heard of James Rice in our small and niche hobby but what a colossal talent he is.

Zastrow - Thank you for posting these images of his superb work. If he isn't classed as a 'Master' in the hobby and on the shows circuit, then he jolly well ought to be !
