NASA rover did not land on Mars, but on fields in Brandenburg

Serious breakdown at NASA: Due to a calculation error, the Mars probe Perserverance landed on Monday not as planned on the red planet, but on a field near Kümmernitztal in the Brandenburg district of Prignitz.


Only today, almost 24 hours later, did technicians from the US space agency notice the fatal error.


Apparently after its launch on July 30, 2020, the probe did not set course towards Mars, as initially assumed, but entered an orbit to Earth unnoticed, on which it circled for months before finally landing in Brandenburg on February 18, 2021.


"The barren landscape and the absence of life led us to believe that the probe was on Mars," explains a visibly disappointed NASA scientist.


The NASA team only noticed that something was wrong when farmer Uwe Wurster drove by with his tractor and plowed the supposed Martian landscape.

LOL.

It's a conspiracy!! No way would that tractor be working in a featureless landscape like that.
