I have often admired the works of a talented Bulgarian sculptor named Giorgi Stamov

. By an extraordinary twist of luck and through Giorgi's generosity I managed to acquire a copy of one of his works

Scale: 75mm.

A late Roman Slinger.

The figure is superb. Anatomy and volume are well thought of and meticulously planned before sculpting.

A good deal of detail is packed in this figure and most important, the artist has manged to capture the feeling of the Era.

Giorgi is certainly gifted. I do hope more of his works become commercially available in the future.
