    Hi Peter
Came on this thread a bit late. This is an excellent all-round result. I have done a couple of Young Mins busts - they are clean, straightforward and paint up well.
    Nice work(y)

    morning Peter

Super finish yet again, well done.

Painting the ace of spades on the camo net covered helmet would have been a real tough job, and could have spoiled a great finish.

It was the right choice to leave it off, along with putting the medipack on the body too.

Off to find your new victim

    Regards

Glad you like him Steve. I just know I couldn't have painted the helmet insignia competently, so best left alone.

Peter excellent final result and a pleasure watching your progress, you have managed to achieve a high level of quality brushwork at a good speed, I just have one suggestion that a nice hardwood pedestal type base with perhaps a brass tube being the means of attaching the bust would give this beautiful piece of work the presentation that it deserves.

    Very many thanks Terry.

Re the base. I tend to find decorative bases a bit distracting myself. It's a personal thing, but I'll bear your suggestion in mind for future projects.

Yes Peter it's the painting that really matters and I am looking forward to following your future projects even if they are mounted on a brick lol.
