Will you be selling through hobbyeasy? They are my first choice as best price and best service.

    Hi there

Very nicely detailed figures , certainly has lots of potential for diorama and individual display

    Thanks for sharing

Hi Jeff, this bothers me somewhat as I buy a lot from hobbyeasy. Is there anything to connect that company to recasters other than both can be found in Honk Kong? What about other internet model suppliers based there? There are two that come to mind. And, recasters based in Europe? What’s to stop me, in New Zealand, receiving a figure and sending it to a recaster any where? I buy original and will not support recasters, wherever they are. Sorry, people, I don’t mean to hijack this thread; I like the figures, but I’m a consumer and am looking for the best price for original works.

I went straight to hobbyeasy and asked whether they would be stocking Assault’s figures, and the reply, verbatim, is: “We may not able to get new Assault Models figures. They have told us that their new figures need to delay few months to supply us to prevent illegal copy issue. They will only sell new figures at their own webshop.“

Which means, for me, waiting until these figures are in stock at hobbyeasy as they still provide good service at a good price. And it’s HonG Kong, not HonK Kong. Stoopid auto text.

  18. I think if you purchase direct from Hobbyeasy's website you'll receive genuine kits, however i think what Jeff is saying is that they take these genuine kits and knowingly supply the recasters with them or actually do the recasting themselves...

If this is correct then it's down to the kit producers to decide whether they supply outlets like Hobbyeasy, if they do then they can't complain when the fruits of their labour are sold on mass on ebay..

Hi ABFTP, I get that, but it is import to state these things based on fact, not conjecture. And to imply hobbyeasy is supplying recasters directly could kill hobbyeasy as a business. Now, I’ve no skin in the game, I don’t find hobbyeasy’s prices to be so much cheaper than the competition to suggest they are engaged in such activities to make a profit. I know recasters exist throughout the world, but as soon as a figure is sent out to wherever then it is available for recasting. It’s the risk of figure manufacturing. I hope to purchase both these figures* once available at hobbyeasy because, as stated above, they provide good service at a good price.

*I’d prefer more modern figures, too, but Axis sells in spades.
