    Aside from huge, this would be expensive to post, solid plaster... great idea that will look the part when finished.

    It says resin, not plaster (plaster would be a deal-breaker for me).

    It is expensive yes, but I think it's a great release. We need more ready-made diorama and vignette bases for figures larger than 54mm, which seem to be about the only bases readily available. And even a lot of the supposedly 54mm bases are a shade on the small side (Black Dog for example) and are really better suited to 1/35 scale.

    I've seen some fantastic one-off bases in modelling mags and at shows, but not all of us have the time and/or the skill to conjure up out of nothing bases from home-made templates, plastic sheet and bits of card in true "Blue Peter" style. So there's a real gap in the market there. We just need companies to come along and start filling it.

    Ja, es ist Harz ;)
    Komplett aus einem Teil gegossen, nur ein paar kleine Kleinteile liegen bei.
    Es soll der Start zu einer kleinen Serie werden.

    Eine zweite Basis kommt - wird noch etwas grösser.:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :);)

    Yes its made of resin,cast as one peice with some small parts extra.
    This is the Start of a new Series of diorama bases.
    A second base is already on the way..this is even bigger.

    This is a excellent idea, Darius Miniatures did this same sort of thing in 1/35 years ago, good to see some in 1/16.

    Thanks for sharing this , certainly a interesting idea and I agree with Steves comment ref gap in the market

    Be good if they also looked at WW1 bases as well
