    Hi guys
I did this vignette inspired by the paint of William Cary about an historical event on 1857, when the young Sioux chief Sitting Bull ( 26 at that moment, dared to menace Liutenant Warren, the commanding officer of a military expedition, throwing a lance in front of him and shouting:” go back paleface and leave our territory! “ .
I created the chief warrior over a naked multipose figure and dressed it up with the
traditional Indian wearing, war instruments and decorations (but sorry for any possible mistake on the matter): everything hand made with putty and metal ( like feathers, shield, ax, buffalo skull )..I also transformed a Historex horse modifying part of the body and legs and created the equipment and details.

    I painted all with acrylic
I’ll appreciate and welcome all your comments

Brilliant piece of work Adriano. (y)

An area of particular interest recently - You made a very nice job of the costume and conversion and it's a great idea for an unusual mounted figure. I look forward to studying it in more detail
    Stay safe

An excellent piece of modelling work sculpting and painting wise. You have put many hours in this project and it shows. If I could add just a tiny bit of criticism, and I do it with the best intentions possible,it would concern the painting of the Indian's eyes.In the photos they look a bit on the big side.It could be the quality of the pictures but if it isn't ,the problem can easily be solved by rewarking the lower eyelid just a tad.On the whole this is trully a great vignette.
