US Navy Lt Pilot (Mitches Military Models)

    Hi All,

    This is my version of US Navy Lt Pilot from Mitches Military Models. As you can see it is based on Tom cruise as maverick from top gun. Very well detailed and a good challenge to paint. The helmet had me thinking of whether to mask it or not and I ended up painting it free hand, I'm pleased with the finished result.

    Very nice painting, but it does not look anything like Tom Cruise. It looks more like a female aviator.

    Not the best likeness of TC (unlike most personalities in Gordon's bust range which are dead ringers) but the paint-job, irrespective, is excellent.

    Good work. The detail on the helmet design and the patches on the flight suit are excellent. I have this bust on order, so I’m pleased to see another version painted up.
