    Massive Voodoo, there's a name I haven't heard in a while.

There are some very impressive photos there, and I agree with a lot of what you say: there's no one way to do things, and study & reference matter more than what exact medium you use.

But to be frank, if it's a starting point for complete beginners, I think it's lacking some of the technical basics that a beginner won't know. Armatures, for example: you show examples of armatures made in a variety of ways. That's good. But they're already made, and in some cases already covered in putty or clay. How does the beginner measure, bend and cut the armature to match the scale and proportions of a simple example, e.g. a human male? What's a simple trick to twist the wire, if they need to? How do the sculptors fix it to the base? How do they build up the basic anatomy (even if it's a brief and simplified overview)? How did Allan Carrasco make that sword out of milliput...?

    Thank you for your appreciation.

Actually your questions are totally right.
Introduce all the sculpting in a single article is a tough thing, I think.
My article shows only basic elements that may introduce somebody in this world. I hope to done my best, but I totally agree with you: there were too much topics to be covered, probably also a single book won't be sufficient I suppose.
Thank you for your feedback :)

I wrote others articles in MV you can find here, where I covered other things they can help somebody :)
