    Hi all, my latest WIP.
The young miniature buste of a u-boat crew member.

I used the lifecolor skin tone set for this one and i really like this paint.

Maybe it has a little bit to much skintone for a uboat crew member. But I’m still learning

Excellent paint job, particularly relevant for me as I’ve been binge watching episodes of Das Boot on Sky Atlantic this week.

I think so, Brian - I haven’t seen any more upcoming episodes in our planner. But on the positive side, the finale with so many loose ends means there’s bound to be a third series. I like Bavaria Film’s productions, I thought Babylon Berlin was great TV & it got me started on reading the Gereon Rath novels.

Great flesh tones on the face, Martin - he’s got the stressed look of one who’s been submerged for a while, & nice shading on the cap.

    Hi Nap
the set has 6 colors inside. I've used mostly 5 of them because the Highest highlight is to bright for me.

I put all the tones on a wet pallet en premix the 1:1 mix between the tones.
    from left to right

    image.jpeg

    2nd highlight, 1st highlight, 1st base, 2nd base, 1st shade, 2nd shade.
then put them on thin. Because of the pigments you can dilute very well
