This latest piece is a Chronos model of the Polish General Dombrowski in the service of France during the Napoleonic Wars.

I normally like to convert pieces to create a unique figure but this model was so good I did it straight from the box although Chronos do give some alternative heads and sword arms for variation.

The uniform included a lot of silver lace which I hadn’t done for a while, so thus created an added challenge.

The references I tracked down for this chap also showed him riding a skewbald horse, so another irresistible challenge.

This is the first Chronos piece I’ve made but it certainly won’t be the last.

What method did you use for the silver lace?

Very nicely done Terry, I've got the kit so now I've got a nice set of reference pictures to go with it,......wish I had the skill to go with them....LOL
