75mm Rorkes Drift vignette - Adam McMaster

    Hello Folks

    Sculpted by Adam McMaster and available soon is this 75mm resin vignette sculpted by Adam McMaster it depicts Lt.'s Chard & Bromhead alongside colour sergeant Bourne during the initial stages of the defence of Rorkes Drift.

    Price is £90.00 which includes worldwide shipping.

    I will be looking to release the colour sgt. as a separate piece in due course.

    very nice, wish these were in 54mm. I think the bayonet is the wrong type for that era

    1860 pattern Yagathan bayonet issued to NCO's for use with Martini Henry rifle. Approx. 27inches long.

    It brings a whole new meaning to Cpl Jone's "they don't like it up 'em Capt Mainwaring"! That's a mean looking bayonet that I wouldn't like up anywhere!

    Also, the vignette (the actual subject of this thread :)) is really great and very, very tempting.

    Another great vignette......conveys the urgency of their situation. The yatagan style of bayonet is a nice touch: the Continental armies, French in particular, made great use of it. I've got one from the Franco-Prussian War, and it's easy to imagine it could be very effective :oops:

    Mate apologies to be late in on this one, don't know how I missed this being released. I agree with Steve and Alan, Adam has a way of interacting three figures to make the perfect little scene and convey urgency as he's done on your previous projects.
