    Hi Robert

2 really interesting WIP here ....the eye on the first ( his right ) needs working on a bit ....are you working from a photograph reference ?

Like your concept for the pirate , clever , possibly add a swivel gun on the boat ?

    Following with interest

    Stay safe

    Happy sculpting

    Thanks Nap,
first one need's some correction's not only on his eye .. but it's still in progress .. lot to be done (ref pic attached)
On second one; his left hand is still missing ,(hold on to the main mast), imagined like he is standing in crow's nest on top of main mast under Jolly Roger flag, hope I explained it correctly..( don know if they had swiel gun on crow's nest at that times), I will research that. It's pure fictional so no ref pic for that one.

Cheers and stay at home :)

I like your pirate in the crow nest, which is of the right size, unlike some similar figures where the crow nest is ridiculously small. The only question is how he managed to get there being so severely disabled.

I don't understand, ok his left arm will be there in time (didn't make it yet), right hand he has hook, legs?, who need's legs, he's a pirate :)

I understand that he will eventually get his left arm and, as the famous quote goes, ""Of course it's got no legs ......it's a BUST" , but climbing up the rigging to the very top of the mast with a hook instead of one hand may be challenging even for a pirate. Nevertheless, great sculpt.

Sergei, to be honest, as usualy I don't have any plans or drawings at beggining , i just start sculpt face and then I wait to see where it will lead me ... Hook was split of second decision just for taking photos , first idea was sabre in his hand , and I think I will go for it... ( Your explanation is acceptable) , after all I like to get some feedback when posting wip pictures, thanks...
