A must have!! Already made their French Legion vignette. Great paintwork, by the way.

Very nice box art painting and a great subject, but most of the poses and expressions strike me as somewhat relaxed, considering the desperate close-quarters fighting that was occurring at Isandlwana. They're readily adaptable to other Zulu War scenarios though.

The shape of the helmets also looks slightly "off" to my (admittedly inexpert) eye.

The great Bill Horan springs in my mind, when I see these little beauties.
I remember the times, when Beneito brings out their many classics, figures and compositions never seen before.
The dead grenadier with the redcoat jumping over his half buried foe,the conquistador with his parrot and so on.
Glad to have all of them in my GA.(y)

Great subject, I hope they do well. I know the helmet aren't great. Along with the Brodie helmet, they must rank as one of the more difficult things to get right when sculpting. One of those things I suppose.

I like so much this period and for this reason i am happy for these Beneito figures that i ll buy for sure. I agree about the faces and the position of stand figure too relaxed......but i suppose that if we want we could , eventually, chenge same heads.

I hope that Beneito will go on whith these little dioramas project becouse they are really interesting idea i have the two acw scenes and they are fine too.....i hope that in near future Beneito could realize a mini dinamic dioramas about last stand of 7th cavarly of Custer (5/6 figures at least) and ,eventually, a second part of Isandwhana scene with a pair of soldier firing with rifle , one on knee and one standing ,a wounded in action firing with revolver.....!!!!

    Congratulations.

I agree with the difficulty in modeling the shape of the helmets, at least for me. I have seen many photos and with each angle it seems to have a different shape.
There comes a time when it is easy to lose perspective.
Thanks to everyone for the constructive comments.

    Hi Jose,
These vignettes you keep sculpting from a story telling point of view are just inspired. I applaud your vision and talent and so glad to see this one finally done.

I particularly like the officer the wind knocked out of him. He would make a great scene with a Zulu running in for the kill. See I'm already inspired and thinking of ideas.;)

Will definitely have a set when the world returns to some kind of normality.

    cheers

And above all those qualities, Beneito have very attractives selling prices .
Who else can offer today 5 METAL figurines and a resin base for 80€
Perhaps partly because they don't disperse themselves in busts, fantasy, SiFi, monsters, dinosaurs, girlies, garden dwarfs, caricatures , paints, tools, accessories, 3-4 dif. sizes for the same piece ... partly because all informations ; size, price, material are clear and obvious on the net ... and they stay close to the historical core of the bzns : 54mm
