Hi everyone, haven't posted anything new for such a while. I am deliberating where to go with "Imperial Gallery" but I am working in collusion with my good friends Keith and Mike with this project.
This is an old sculpt by the late great Pete Moreton. It is approx. 200mm, and includes the sculpted base, making the base and figure stand 270mm, impressive. Figure and base resin. The pattern needed much repair and renovation which Mike Wilkinson skillfully achieved, I painted the figure and Keith has made moulds and castings and will market the figure under his "Victory Miniatures" banner. Available from www.victoryminiatures.co.uk

This is great! I like it a lot and good to see Arthur as the Romano-british warlord he would have been. Regards Pete

Not sure how old this model is but it really has stood the test of time. I also love the painting you have done but I also think it would look great with a post battle messy look.
Got to admit I'm very tempted by this. Oh and one last thing great price for such a large model of top quality.

This has been beautifully painted by Rob. There is also an alternative nameplate as an 'Anglo Saxon Warrior'.

This was the last model Pete sculpted and it was initially designed to be cast as one bronzed resin block as 'Lord Derfel Cadarn' from the Bernard Cornwell Warlord Trilogy involving King Arthur. Pete did mention that he had been in contact with the author who had said that he was interested, but I haven't been able to get in touch with him, and King Arthur and Anglo Saxon Warrior will do just as well. The basic sculpting was done by Pete and I provided accessories and detailing to the figure and base before he died.

Considering the amount of rubber and resin used to produce this figure, I would consider it very reasonably priced. Below the painted figure on the Victory web site is a bronzed version I did for Keith as an alternative to the painted version.

Not a re-release. The MMM one was 120mm, this is 200mm.
