This little fellow has arraived, and I couldn’t resist! The face is is amazing sculpted, so many details, and he looks similar like the doctore from spartacus! As always no primer, and oils over Acryls!

Not sure how you are painting it though, it looks like there's no primer. Are you priming in acrylic as you go along? (Looks good either way , just curious)

yes no primer, I remove every casting rest from the figure! This is the hardest part, and I just paint the base Color with acrylic! And than paint the lights and shadows with oils, the benefits of my technic is the details are less covered with paint, but it takes lot more time to prepare the figure! Another benefit is, that I can strip down the paint easily,it’s like skinning!I have more space for failures! After the figure has painted I put it into the oven, for a couple of hours, to cure the paint! After the paint has cured, you can touch the figure, the paint paint will not come off, you will not notice the lack of the primer! Sure you can not do a Warhammer game with the figures! But thay survive

Hello Folks,
I would need your advice on the back, because i tried some new technic on the end of the cloak, now it looks a little worn! But I’m not sure about the Color! The Color is the Color of the “highest light “ but on the edge it looks more orange for me! Any advice or help is welcome!

Hi Roland if you wanted to push the highlights a bit you could add a tiny spot of flesh (sunny skintone or similar) to your red or go even darker with the shadows to make the highlights stand out a bit more (I'd add some dark green personally)
