    Congratulations Mike. It looks a great article and thank you for sharing your amazing painting techniques. Loads of patience and skill. Although a small contingent the New Zealanders made a tremendous contribution on Gallipoli; their assault on and defence of Chunuk Bair was gallantry personified ,and again at Hill 60.

    Thanks Chris & Brian for your encouragement. This was a special project I wanted to capture the personality of this young soldier who would see much more before end of WW1.

    Brian hope to meet you later this year @EuroExpo & Chris perhaps again in a month or two.

    Amazing work Mike, very realistic result and having painted a WW1 bust in oils recently I can only say that you have the uniform and everything bang on, the texturing is certainly the way to go, so yes lets have some tips on how to do this please.
