La Fortezza 54mm white metal figure. I used Vallejo acrylics to paint this, not entirely satisfied with the result, lot to be learn to master these paints.

I can’t really see why you’re a little disappointed with your results on this figure - the Vallejo colours look perfectly blended & highlighted to me, particularly on the waistcoat & sash. The only addition I would make is an overall Matt coat to knock back the shine in some areas, other than that the figure looks excellent!

Very nice! I think you are coming along nicely. A little more contrast between the highlights and shadows would help, I think. Acrylics are definitely a challenge. There should be a couple of levels of highlights. On this figure just going back and adding a slightly lighter highlight on the very tops of folds and edges would make a difference. Keep that in mind for the next one. this is just a suggestion. The figure is well done.
