By modern standards the casting on this is pretty awful-the sword and sword knot are poor, there are casting seam lines on the legs and the left arm will need extensive cleaning and filling before even primer is applied-I think there has maybe been a rush to market with this, surely it would have been better to wait for a box art example?..........In mitigation if you buy it you know what you are getting.

It is a shame because you have some nice figures in the range.

Plus 1 to what Keith says. Unless this is a a master and a 'work in progress' - in which case it would be wise to wait for a finished box art piece to advertise the product- then it is quite rough as presented here.

I hope Art Soldiers receive this feedback in the constructive manner by which it is intended but it is pointless if everyone here on PF heaps the usual and often insincere praise and plaudits on a figure....and then no one buys it.

    Hi Guys

Agree with Keith's and Gary's comment ...all companies should welcome constructive comments which these are

In addition to mine ref being static ...can't see any sword rings on scabbard or indeed straps , he also looks very thin ...but this might be the picture

    Look forward to Artsoldiers response

I am sorry to read these comments about my figure ... I have only put them in PF as an advance.
Maybe I have rushed, but to describe my figure as horrible seems too much.
I hope you like the artbox more .....

    Hi there my friend

If I may be allowed no one said horrible but gave constructive comments based on the pictures

Nowadays we are used to very high quality castings so..... if something has concerns it's more noticable to all

Be interested in knowing whether this is the first casting ?

Look forward to seeing your box artwork ...a challenge to paint a well known film character

Be interesting to see what future releases we see from Fort Apache

Sorry but I agree 100% with the comments above, this release looks very poor in comparison to the others in your range.

    Hi Xaby,
I have always been pleased with all the 54mm figures you have sent me. But this one has production issues....also one of the button has come adrift and the right cuff. Clearly visible on the master but missing on the casting.
Hope you can resolve the issues.
    cheers

Might I suggest you show another casting the one here might be a one-off ?

Look closely at the upper right arm ..a casting slip is there

I am sure this figure can look better

No need for sadness ...just honest comments

No one has said your figure is "horrible" but this piece AS PRESENTED HERE it is not up to standard including compared to others in your own range. Also, the likes of Mercury, Altores and Avanpost etc. have set the bar so high in terms of details and casting QC with resin that a 'so-so' effort will no longer do. Perhaps the pictures on this thread do not do the piece justice and so, you may want to post some others which better represent the actual thing; in which case please do so.

Be honest, what purpose is served for you by everyone giving platitudes saying "great figure" .." a must buy for me"... etc. and then no-one actually buys it and you wonder why after all the comments they haven't put words into deeds and bought a piece?

As others have pointed out very constructively, there are a raft of flaws and poor detail as evident in the pictures but why should painters have to replace them or correct it where it should have been done in production? Ultimately, if you don't want (HONEST) feedback then don't post new products up and instead, just ask your friends for an appraisal and they will probably just tell you what they think you want to hear.

Gary I think you take me for a dreamer ....
Of course I like the honest and the truth ...
And as I said in a previous post I admitted that I was wrong ....
And I should not have put the figure in those conditions, at this moment the master painter is examining it having told me.
Do not say how is the bar of the brands there are many and some very good ....
That you are going to tell me that I no longer know.

To add some balance to the above, I do like the overall pose.

For a static up and down figure, the pose is really well done.

With some further polishing of the details and of the casting this can be a very nice release.

Dear friends, the master painter tells me that the copy he has is perfect.
Therefore I apologize for putting this figure in PF.
