May be some of you know the famous diorama L'orage Avant La gloire (The Storm Before The Glory) by lady Lydie Queyroi.

I saw the video...superb!That´s a kind of art...the idea with the black and white stripes(y).
I remember a figure from a American GI in 120 mm on a Huertgenwald bunker in pouring rain in PF.
I will try these tipps on a Australian traindriver WW I figure, leaning on a wheel, from The Fusilier range from Steve Warrilow.
Is he back from his tour around the world???

thanks so much for sharing this, awesome (if incredibly time consuming) technique. Reminded me of the old Stan Catchpole articles in Military Modelling, I think I still have his one on water which included modelling larger bullet splashes by dripping plastic cement through a hole cut in a piece of plasticard.

I agree with everyone here. The video was eye opening and the technique was innovative. The results are superb.

I've made my own raindrop tools to try the technique out. Hopefully I can make it work!!

Great looking diorama. The conditions look miserable for the soldiers

Fantastic diorama. And I had exactly the same thought to try that on the Australian traindriver figure! Do post your work once you've tried it. Cheers!
