    Good day to everyone,
I'm in need of some advice about purchasing a figure. I'm looking for a Stormtrooper Miniature's Dutch Grenadier in Russia 1812 1/9th scale. I've only been able to find two. Both companies are in Russia and I know absolutely nothing about either. First company is xxx xxx xxxxxxx and the second is xxxxx xxxxxxxxxx I'm new and I have noticed a lot of references to pirated figure's, just want to make sure that both companies are above board before I order anything. Just thought it was strange that they were available in Russia but no longer available from Stormtroopers own website. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for be so long winded.

    Cheers!

This question was asked about one of these outlets on 'Cool Mini or Not'.
Here is one of the comments in relation to the 2nd you mentioned

"They are a notorious piracy shop. They get hold of a single figure from various MFR's and make unauthorized/illegal copies of them. When you purchase from them, you are assisting them in stealing from the original creator/copyright holders of the products. Nearly every company that makes kits has issue with them"

    Cheers,

    Hi Joe.

Sadly I cannot help with the miniature but just wanted to say that I'm impressed that you double checked before buying as recasting is a real issue. Shows that the message about not buying recasts is getting around which is encouraging.
