    Hi all!!

Despite my lack of presence online I've been working on stuff since Euro ...

Here is my WIP of Ebroins superb sculpt of a German Feldgendarme...

Under-coated in Halfords grey auto primer and painted with a combination of Vallejo and Games workshop acrylics.... Only the face is anywhere near finished but I'm happy with where it's going, update soon

    :)

Nice work so far Mark! I know I'll be the unpopular one for saying this, as everyone has already gushed about the eyes, but to me the figure's right iris/pupil looks smaller than the left. For me the left one looks more proportionately sized. Other than that, I'm sure this will be up to your high standards!

Thanks for all the input everyone, individual replies to follow after agreeing that the eyes were a tad miss-matched. But I guess that's why I like to post WIP pictures. You guys see these images with fresh eyes, I've often spent hours working on the piece, photograph it and then process the image and then finally post it!

So what I'm trying to say is thanks! for the critique and the comments... (y)

    Work continues ....

I messed about a fair bit with the helmet until I found some pics of those goggles. They are pretty busy so kept the finish on the helmet simple. Nothings finished but some stuff is getting there.

I adjusted the iris on the right eye ... What do you think???

The eyes look much better in size, could be the lighting but the blue in each look different colours.

I must say I like the other face you have just posted as well. These two faces have great colour and your eyes look very real. Not being rude but I much prefer these, to your other faces you have done.

    Keep up the great work
