Here is the "Swedish" Yellow Regiment figure painted. I tried some new things with this piece, perhaps it was the colors of the uniform or just trying to learn new things and having some fun with it. What I tried this time was to use different values of the shadows/highlights while still keeping them complimentary. So as a result the shadows are pretty cold, while the highligts are a bit warmer and more vivid. This shows up a lot more in person then in these pictures but you can get the idea. I'll give it to you to find out if it worked or not, I am fairly pleased with the effect, can stand quite a bit of fine tuning but all in all not a horrible first try.

Anyways, need to get packed for Euro Militaire!

As always, painted with Reaper Master Series paints and Vallejos for the skintones.

And a couple less washed out pictures, for some reason the contrast just washes out when I take pictures, aaaah!

These are when the figure was not 100% finished.

Nice work Anders. I really like the yellows, and have to agree, the painting on this piece does have a certain "Mike Blank-ness" to it. Well done.
