    Viking Drakkar Raider 54mm resin and medal figure made by Andrea Miniatures.I painted this figure with acrylic's, the chain mail was painted with silver metals and printer inks washes.

    Thanks for the comments, this was a fun piece to paint. Saw the figure in Stressa and bought it, wanted to give a try painting the water and the boat. The boat is to small but I decided it must be an early Viking surf board. However any figure you buy that inspires you to paint is a great figure as most of us have 100's of figures still in the box gathering dust. The casting and fit was excellent on this one. Looking forward to Chicago!
