    Hi Guys,

Following on from my review of this piece from Stu Hale's emporium of resin thought I would start this thread.

I always put the work onto its final base and then wrap in cling film and in low tack paper tape(the model not me!!!!!)
    R1.jpg
Once I had prepped the figure up I primed in black as is my chosen choice .......all work in Acrylics for me .

Base coats were applied using mainly GW paints with some from the Army Painter.
    R2.jpg
The face will be first ...base coat applied using mixes ...I did this several times as I wasn't happy ...inbetween this I also built up the beard a bit ....more work on the face ..now looks different !!!
    R3.jpg R4.jpg R5.jpg
Then it was the waistcoat various reds were on the bench ...once I was happy with that .....deep breathing was the order of the day ...

...the lacework ..there is lot of it!...NMM for me using a Snakebite leather , black and white for the shadows and highs .......where we are is about 6 hours of holding my breath ...I don't work fast !.....still going to go back to this once the collar lace is done .
    R6.jpg R7.jpg
...time to stop swearing and realise I am enjoying this immensely

More to follow(in between painting something less lacey!!!)....the plan is to have this finished for FW...honest!!!

Very nice work. Always triggered to paint NMM but I don't have the guts to do it.

    Hi Guys,

More of an update..... flesh finished now , cap band all done ...working on the facial hair with some more highs and then the cap top plus button

It looks a lot better in the flesh...honest!!!

To do collar lace . might revisit the lacework at the bottom of the waistcoat and do a bit more on the lace itself on the chest .

Then its the coat ...and collar

    Then the article!!!!
