    Hi Guys
Just a quick post to show you guys how the Shimazu Arquebusier is coming along, its taking me ages, but I am loving every bit of it, this is a beautiful kit. All the parts are still separate, just held together with blue tac to see how it looks. I have only just started the groundwork and plan on adding Autumnal foliage and long read grass around the tree stump. As you can see, there is still loads to do, so be gentle. All comments welcome, good or bad

Is this the Pegaso kit? This figure never really interested me but after seeing what you are doing with it i may just have to get one myself. The black armor looks very convincing. How did you get such a nice shine?

    Hi David

Yes it is the 90mm pegaso kit, you realy must have a go at this one its a great kit. The shine on the armour is just humbrol gloss over acylic black base...

    Dave, here's my response...........

EXCELLENT detail painting! It's really making this figure standout. One of your best to date. When do you tackle the fleshtones?

    Hi Jim

I have actually finished the flesh on the face, but I was going to wait to finish the helmet before posting, but that may be tonight anyway, thanks for the comments very much appreciated.

    Dave,

In my opinion you did a great paintjob so far. And i have to echo Roy,
please make some closeups. I always admire the work that is done on the armor of a japanese warrior.

DUH! I just looked at your previous post on this figure and lo and behold, there's the face. Sometimes I should look before I ask.

By the way, when you put the pic up of the face again, can you share your mix for the flesh?
