Another of my 1/6th creations, this one has been a lot of fun trying to create all the different textures. The bonnet was a bit of a nightmare, but I eventually found the right sort of feathers in a craft shop. It's built like the original with feathers over a blocked out felt bonnet beneath.
The tunic is brushed cotton, the kilt a commercial one from a Sideshow WW1 figure , with overstripes applied to create the McKenzie tartan.

The equipment is the full Slade-Wallace field marching order, done in goatskin with brasswork specially cast for me in Birmingham. He has messtin, valise, waterbottle and rolled greatcoat , as well as the pouches for the Lee-Metford ammo.

Since everything can be changed with these large figures, I also took a snap of him in walking out dress, The sporran is leather underneath , with mohair decoration :

Brilliant Tony, as usual. Only I believe it's only the Gordons that have black buttons on the gaiters. In rememberence of Sir John Moore. That's also why there's a black thread running through the officers gold braid.

To say just how good this is woulld be inadequate.
    It is truly staggeringly good

It would not look out of place posed against Fort George itself as a backdrop.

It would sit comfortably in this scene and not look out of place either.
