    Hi all,

This is my latest completed figure, Scale 75's Mohawk Militia. This is a change from my usual Military subjects, and it was a good one!...I'll certainly be doing more American Indian figure's in the future.

It is painted in acrylics using a mix of Scale75, Vallejo and Andrea, enamels for any metal bits.I wanted to have it on the base before I posted it, but I'm not sure when I will get around to doing it, but I will re-post when it is done.

Anyway, all comments and feedback are welcome, good or bad, and thanks for looking.

    Cheer's,
    Jeff.

    Hi Jeff

I'm pleased you decided to post your Mohawk mate after our little chat recently,I must say it looks very good,i'n not an acrylic painter but have achieved a lovely result on this piece,I like the skin tone colour which suits the figure really well and the red coat has also been painted very well.
I look forward to seeing the finished piece on the base mate, congratulations on a great job,it's a super little figure and I hope you enjoyed painting it as much as I did with mine.

    Great job!!!!
Good skin tones, not too dark. Very crisp, clean brushwork.
My favourite thing about this piece, particularly on the red coat, is that you seem to have developed great depth using deep shading as opposed to overdone highlighting (as is the current fashion). I much prefer this style of achieving depth, as to my mind it seems more natural.

    Very well done
