    Hello, everyone.:)
I have completed a work at last.
    (ROMAN CENTURION A.D.100 VERLINDEN 90mm)
I tried to reproduce a texture about this work.
But it has been the quite rough finish.
I used oil paints about painting of completion.
A ground work used VALLEJO - COLOR.

    All comments welcome.;)

    Hi Mitsutaka,

To be honest I don't think this is your best work. I've seen you do many, many figures over the last couple of years and for some reason this one doesn't reach the very high standards you've set for yourself. I think the face lets this figure down. It just doesn't seem as neat and clean as your usual faces. Having said that, there are still some positives. The leather work and the metallics are very good. I hope you don't mind me being critical, but it's better to be honest than hand out empty praise.

Mitsutaka i thinkthat Tony has some point in his critics. The painting on this specific figure doesnt seems as clean and precise as in your previous works .

The cape is missing the effect you have tried toachieve and the problem is that the re is not light / shadow degrade from up to down. Maybe there is still space for improvement if you feel like it. But you have done so many nice pieces, and i think that yoou can see the defects on thsi specific piece and repair them.

    Best Regards

    Costas

As you have said yourself it is a bit rough. But I think that you have done a reasonable job.

Hi Mitsutaka, in any artistic discipline ( and for my opinion painting figure is a sort of artistic complement ) is difficult to mantein always the same range, also because often we want to try something new , and this is great because we can improve our skill , me too i can't do better when i'm bored with a project that for me doesn't work for example and the result is worse than my expectations , also is important to show our works to other which can comment and for me nothing is better of Planet Figure to have good feedback and suggestions . The comments of Tony, Costas, Marc etc, in my opinion denote a truly friendship , they are honest with you, take care this , is very important. I also want to be honest with you and i have to say you did a beautiful job but not top notch as usual , for example you can do mutch better with the face knowing your high skill :) the metals and the leather are great, for the cape with the texture i echo Costas

best regards from your friend Stefano (y)

    Hi Mitsutaka,

I know your painting is very nice and you have high skill,
and I love to try something new like you so I guess you spent many times for trying texture and I'm sure you did get something while you work this figure.
I'm looking forward to see your next work. :)
(I hope you can understand my poor english)

    All my best regards,

    Hello Mitsutaka:

I've read the other comments, and at the skill level that I am, I really don't
feel qualified to critique the painting. I know the photographs are really
wonderful. That last picture that shows the entire presentation w/ the base
of quality wood and that really classy name plate is very impressive.

Re your ground cover or terrain: It is just spectacular in my view. All the
shades and tones in the grasses, the rocks and the soil work so
wonderfully well with the figure and the entire presentation. Re my attempts
at ground cover just recently, ha ha, I think I am feeling just a
little bit like Kermit the Frog on Sesame Street. I'm kinda "Green"
with envy!:):) It's not easy being Green. Hey isn't that an old song title?

    Thank you very much, everyone.

    Hi! Tony.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment and criticism.
This my work wasn't the work which is so far as you said.
I'm sorry to make them be disappointed.
I think it was possible to build this figure into a work as usual.
I, TRY, please, I wanted to hear everybody's view.
I introduce your criticism, and would like to improve a skill of painting.
    Thank you very much.;)

    Hi! Costas.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment and criticism.
I regret that more real things should be observed about Cape.

Well、I also think there was something to get for oneself in this work.
However I'm thinking it's difficult to respect that both.
    thank you very much.;)

    Hi! Carl.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment and criticism.
I have secured time when this figure is painting since being concerned, sufficiently.
However it has been the quite rough finish as you say consequently.
I'd like to paint more politely.
    Thank you very much.;)

    Hi! Marc.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
I think there are a lot of people satisfied to do the same thing, too, but it's the policy I'm asking for something new in case of me.
When the result seems to make many readers be disappointed, TRY is thinking it isn't successful.
I think it's my problem to make TRY where a reader is satisfied succeed.
I'd like to paint more eagerly.;)

    Hi! stefano.:)
Encourage with a kind comment and thank you very much,my friend.
And thank you for sending long sentences.
I respect a feedback from PF very much, too.
The limit is felt to estimate my work by myself.
Everyone's criticism will be also taken in from now on, and I'm thinking I'd like correct and paint.
    Thank you very much;)

    Hello, MJ,Kim.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment and advice.
I think I should do more persistently about a texture as you say.
I may sometimes also try experimental painting now.
When you can advise at that time, it's saved very much.
    Thank you very much.;)

    Hi! Rick.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
And thank you very much for a comment of a long article.
It's painting as usual about a ground work.
Mr.Toshiichi Matsuoka (Japanese figure modeler) was saying "The result you hope that you provide for which was led so that every kind of work was put on the free mount, and a title plate might be also stuck and completed." in the book.
I underwent the influence, so I'm doing as it.
I'm sorry, I wasn't good at English and couldn't understand sentences of your last one.
Thank very much you for liking it.;)

    Hi! Pedoro.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment, my friend.
I'd like to paint more politely from next time.
    Thank you for liking it.;)

    Hi! John.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
I think a work will be also VERLINDEN next time.
It's expected to paint 54mm figure, not a big figure.;)

Mitsutaka, I admire your gentlemanly way of accepting critique.
As you can see from the above posts including my self, you have many honest and sincere friends.
I have always enjoyed seeing your work, but this latest one is not up to par, maybe it's the photography.

    Cheers

I second what Rocco Alcaro said. . .

    Mitsutaka:

I just read all the post on this last page, and the words that Rocco Alcaro
wrote about you being a real gentleman spoke truthfully. And it made me
feel good to know that Rocco took the time to write those comments.
The ladies and gentlmen on this site really are so well mannered. And I do
appreciate that so much, and I don't take it for granted. :)

You are very gracious and definitely a gentleman, as we could tell by
    your individual responses to everyone.

I am sorry that some of my writing is hard to understand. English is a very
difficult language to learn. Hopefully, over time on this site, the vocabulary,
the words we use, will become more familiar to you.

I certainly enjoy seeing your big talent displayed. And I wish you well,

Thank you very much, Roc, Rick.

    Hi! Roc.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment and criticism.
I think everyone is gentleman more-like than me.;)
When I'm good at more English, too, I think it can be understood each other more.
However I'm thinking communication is formed only by showing a work and seeing a work.;)
I'd like to make an effort more in Well next time.

    Hi! Rick.:)
I think it's small in the quantity of my English study.;)
I'm writing sentences using translated software.
But, this program is wrong and isn't perfect at all.
    I don't know how I can speak English now.
I myself studied at school, these don't seem to have been necessary.

    Hi HiKaru,

Yes, I am a KISS fan! It Seems like a lot of people were fans in their childhood and teens. There's a lot of us that kinda just hung around to see where they would go next with this image and sound. 35 years later they're still release albums! I know many people that were fans in grade school and high school, but then grew out of the interest, then years later after hearing something new, like Sonic Boom, or Psycho Circus they might check out a concert and Walla! Your a reguvinated KISS fan again! You never know. You wanna hear a great all time album? Check out 1975's KISS ALIVE!(y) Crank the volume to 10 and I swear you'll feel like you're at a KISS concert!
The 2nd picture below was taken in the back of a place called the Coventry in I think Queens, NY back in late 1973. I think this was the first night they did the makeup and a short time later refined it to what everyone knows them as today. The 1st picture is taken later in 1975. Notice the quick refining of their image. From this point on, with the image and the sound, there was no stopping them! Any way, I could go on and on and on... take care!
