Though there are some living historians (reenactors) that have good impressions a lot of the equipment like the shotbag with the GR2 cypher in my opinion is something put together based on actual items to varying degrees. The shotbag on your figure is way too big. The leggings are also to big. They should be more form fitting to the legs and should not look like loose "tubes" of cloth around the legs. Here is a photograph of what I consider a good interpretation of colonial rangers. The cut of the uniforms and the physical build of the reenactors is a lot closer in my opinion than the sources you have used for a reference. If you would like a more detailed critique I'd be happy to give one.

    Hello Mr. Terry

    Thank you for your comment...

About the scale, Kevin already answer... But I will refer again... It will be a bust in 1/9 Scale, from the head until the belt. The 75mm and 54mm it will be teh same. The only difference is teh detail... We are develop some test, to put the same details in 54mm, but wit a little more soft details... We can exagerate them, but I thung we are in the good way... And it will be something different, but for better... A figure 54mm with soft detaisl of clothes, textures and soon on... I hope you like that... Sometimes is very diffciult to find the balance... We want to put the some details in a bust or 75mm figure, but in minor scales, we have to have attention, because we dont want lost teh detaisl but we dont want exagerate them... We dont want artificial figures... This isnt the RPmodels path... I dont want this for RP...

Everthing in model is RPmodels design. We use many photos, books and search ways to find out they use... Sometimes we can see the details. But we found what kind of fabric they use. And once again we have to do some tests with our softwares... We put the type of fabric and try to develop the clothes... Because of that and other softwares, we can do this... Many people can think... they put in the software are the program do everthing... WRONG... We put some information, the program helps us, but we have to develop teh concept for the program define what is right or wrong...

I ask you a little more patience and in a few weeks you will have your Ranger Roger... I advise you do some reserve in some RPmodels partners, because the 75mm figures are almost reserve... And this is a Limited Edition of 300 pieces... RPmodels wont produce more... In 54mm, there are no limit...

    Thank you Sir.
    You are very kind..

    Hello Mr. Garyjd

    Thank you for your comments...

In first place I weant to tell you one thing... For RPmodels is very important all critics, ideas, comments and tips... This kind of things allow us grow up as a company and allow myself, grow up as a person and as a professional... In my opinion if you dont listen the others, it will be impossible to be better. In my professioanal life, sometimes Ive to do difficult decisions, but Im always try one thing... Do the better that I can and listen people... I believe this two points that allow us be better profissional and persons... So, in Hobby World, Ive the some behaviour... For me there are no differences... In some moments of life, with the biggest challenges and difficulties, the Hobby World helped me a lot, because he was my scape, and allow me mantain my mental health... Has you can see, I will never have a way to pay this... But this belong to past, and alredy gone...

So, if you want share your ideas with us, for me it will be a great honor...

About the things that you talk... In RPmodels we do a extend search work... We study a lot, and we talk with associations, museums and persons, and we read many articles, books, and so on... Our main objective is find the best information and what is more correct... The Roger Rangers are something like a militia... There arent nothing that tell us that they use this gear, or equipment... Like a conventional army... They use what they have in normal life... Because of that, you can see two different people, in the some photo, with different gear and equipment... So we cant tell everthing is wrong... Ive the chance and oppurtonity to receive a big help of one of the best American Associations in this theme... They write articles and they help some editors to write about this theme... In RPmodels we try to develop our pieces with the extreme detail of gear, equipment and emotions...

When you said you consider a good photo of what you thing it is a good interpretation, I think, in my opinion of course, that the people of this Associaton have a different knowlodge of us... They send me so many photos, and if you have a little time, I want to invite you to see and compare with the figure...

Once again, I want to express you, that for me it will be a GREAT HONOR receive your help... I dont have any doubt, that with your help, this figure it will be better...

Thank you Sir, and I hope dont boried you with my opinion... But someone told in the past, 'The humanity change because people have ideas...'

    Thank you Sir.

Did you know that Robert Rogers while working for the Brits during the Rev War was the one who caught Nathan Hale? Hale was a spy (and a very poor one) who talked a little too much. He met Rogers while on a mission and after a couple conversations Rogers suspected him. He was turned and ans we all know hung by the Brits as a spy. According to legend he uttered the words " I regret that I have but one life to give to my country"

Rogers went on to become rather unsavory character to both sides. He tried to work both sidess but failed and eventually sided with Great Britian. He wa deeply in debt from the French and Indian War and at one time ended up in debtors prision. He was an alcoholic and in 1783 traveled back to England with other British evacuated troops and died there in debt and obscurity.

A sad story for a hero and true warrior in the F&I War and a father to the US Army Rangers.
