Retreat

    Hi Guys

    Just to show you that I finished The Retreat, I can say its the best figure I have painted to date...

    Hi Dan, I created the snow on his coat by grinding the ALUM down to smaller granuals, then with wood tooth pick, I dabbed small amounts of superglue, keeping it to small areas, then sprinkled the ALUM over the areas, this was done before the figure was attached to the base, this made it easier to get some snow inside the bottom edge of the coat, once done the coat is given a wash of sepia up to the edges of the coat this gives a final finish that makes the coat look, wet and sodden... hope this helps
