Hi I was wondering do people try to remove minor mould lines in between legs of 1/35th figures?

I don't do 1/35th but if I did I would.

I guess some of the trouble I am having is in between the legs I can’t tell if it mould line or part of the seam detail

If you have a camera phone take a photo of it and then enlarge it, that will determine if it's a seam or mould line. As Jason said the tip of a scalpel blade or fine wet and dry sandpaper will do the trick.

This is a common problem in all scales and obviously more difficult to cope with in the smaller scales especially in metal figures. My advice is to first find as many illustrations as you can showing details of the uniform to establish if a seam is actually visible.

As others have said a fine scalpel blade or fine sand paper and patience will solve the problem.

What I tend to do is use the rear edge of a scalpel blade, lessens the chance of cutting into the figure.
