Well, after some time, here is my latest. I picked this beauty up in Atlanta from one of the vendors. It's by Enrique Rubio and it's his Prussian Soldier 1870 (Franco-Prussian war). Resin, 200mm, well sculpted and well cast. It was a pleasure to paint. All oils of course, the metalics are all printers inks. Thanks for looking! Any and all comments welcome.

Hey Jay! Looks awesome. I definitely cannot find anything to criticize. The helmet looks very real. The colors on the uniform look muted and blended well and it makes it look real. NIce job and nice bust.

    Hi Jay,

As I am very new to the world of miniature painting (doing my first mini at the moment) all I can say is superb! Gives me a lot to work towards, I especially love the subtle blending on the skin tones.

    Mark,
thanks for the kind words! That's why I like the oils so much, I can get the subtle transitions I'm after. Show us your mini when it's done, we'd love to see it! Good luck!
