This is the samurai from Pegaso. I pretty much painted stright from the box. The hands, wrists and yari were all together as one piece. So after attaching it all to the arms, I cut off the yari, drilled holes in the hands and replaced it with brass rod. Also had to make a new thumb. All in all it was a fun paint job. All critiques are welcome.

    Hola Brad!

Great looking figure! I love how the blue dress (I know thats not what it is but I dont know real name for it :) ) and the pattern looks great as well. I bet that was kinda tedious to do!

I would suggest adding the ground work to the rest of the base as well, although this way isnt bad either concidering the subject.

    Whats next on the bench?

    Guys, thanks for your comments.

Anders - The robe was tedious to paint, but I had to do it. I totally agree with the groundwork. For some reason I just decided to not do much on it. I'm not sure what the next one will be. My busy season has started, so I will be working a lot.

Gary - the robe was at first a paint in the __. But as I did more, It got a little easier and now I wish I spent a little more time making the design more perfect. I t endded up being really fun.

Guy - thanks for the comments. The blue is actually darker than the pictures represent.
