Nice work Mike! Love the flesh tones for sure. The "crazy" eyes are also a nice touch!

Yikes, that is some serious talent on display. I have this same bust ready to prime but think I will put him back in the box and do something else, like quilting! This is freaking incredible my man and I am totally blown away. This is the best skin tone since the box art. Many many thanks for sharing your work here and on the other site. I really enjoyed reading your SBS over there.

Mike, man you a way to nice! Seriously do crack this one out it is a fabulous looking bust. Only a couple of niggly areas to watch out for, you would have seen these in the SBS.

Hope you enjoy this one as much as I did,

    Mike

    The eyes have it :)

    Brian, Jay, Rocco & Andy,

Thank you guys for the comments, especially pleased with those that talk about this being "alive" as this is something I know a few of us strive for.

Ref the eyes, hmmm... Wanted to do something different from Sang Eon's box art & chose down ward glare, best description I've heard is a look of consternation. Must admit never thought I'd be painting that sort of look ;-)

    Take care,

    Mike

Mike, he is almost alive ! What a paintjob in the eyes, the central point of a bust ! My compliments!

    Hi Mike,

I'm really impressed mate. Those eyes are seriously intense. They certainly attract attention. The details on the quilted armour are superb. I think Mr Young and Mr Lee would be very happy to see this.

    Hi Stefano,

Animals are lions & are sculpted by Young on the bust's helmet.

    Thanks for comment.

    Mike
