Yep as you know mate always looking for suitable names to help give sense of personality & connection. Search of French WW1 Officers turned this one up.
Will share him later when he’s done mate.
Hi Neal, thank you for kind comments.
Hoping he’ll come together as I envisage him.
Nice to work on bigger scale, allows a little more detail to be attempted.
Hi Joe, always grateful for your support & have admired your projects in recent times mate. Keep ‘em coming.
Hi Karl, appreciate feedback & interest mate.
Book is a big goal for this year, with a few more projects to complete before I try & convey my approach in a way that is helpful to others. Contributions & comments received here help give me a sense of what maybe of value. It will be a demanding task, so I hope I can deliver something practical to encourage others’ learning & practice of the hobby with specific emphasis on Allies of WW1.
What would you like to know more about?

Made progress since last sharing this fellow here.
Front & back views with boots undercoated only.

Was really taken by trench sections when first saw Maurice & his Poilu (Ernesto did super job on him).
So finally looking forward to beginning on this trench background, hope to have this finished in coming couple of weeks ready for final photographs to send to Paul for consideration as boxart.

Interesting pickup Hobbes, an area I spent lots of time on so appreciated.
Hi Peter, glad you’re liking him. Value your comment.
Bit rusty on groundwork, so will have to sharpen up quickly if I want trench to achieve vision I have for it.
Kind comment Steve & yes having some fun with Maurice.
Thank you Adrian, as you know I’m always trying to capture a character.

    Thanks Pete, appreciate feedback.
Aiming to have Maurice as key article in my book.
Now just hoping I can articulate approach in a useful & practical way. Perhaps bit old school when compared with glossy, mega books of today but will do best to have broad technique & deep coverage of Modelling WW1 Allied figures.
