    Hi folks....

Here's my latest mini of a "Vostroyan Standard Bearer" from GamesWorkshops Sci-Fi game Warhammer 40000. He's part of a group of minis to be auctioned of for charity, called Works of Heart, for victims of Hurricanes, (Works of Heart) created and organised by members of the Coolmiornot forums.

He's been posted on CoolMini, so feel free to vote

With the standard included, he's probably the same size as a 54mm figure. Lots of little details needed to be done on him, but I really enjoyed doing him.
    Painted in Vallejo Acrylics

    anyway, here he is:

hope you like him. Always open to comments, good bad or indifferent

EXCELLENT job Rob! (y) I LOVE the colors. It really shows that you enjoyed painting this figure. As far as comments .......well I'm not really sure where to start so.....if you don't mind, how about telling the rest of us what WE need to do?  Seriously though, you have outdone yourself my friend.

    Rob,

Extremely well done. And then in that scale. Amazing. Is the pattern on the flag sculpted or did you paint it free handed ???

    Again really really great work.

    Thanks all for the comments!!

personally I feel he's my best mini to date; which is how it should be!!!!!

Marc.....the details are on the flag already...it is for the "get 'em on the table" wargames crowd.......

Callum.....um......probably not!!!! Not this year anyway; Gameday is the same day (sunday) as Euro (BOO!) so I will miss at least the sunday of Euro. Which also means Adrian Bay is missing Euro this year too!
However, he (the figure) will probably come with me on the Friday/Saturday for Euro, especially as Anders is intending to make it to Euro......he's not getting all the way over here and not have a beer with me!

    Again...thanks for your support......now, whats next.... :)

Rob my friend.........sry I'm late but I'm frantic at the moment to say the least  as I'm TRYING to ger two more figures ready for Euro.......too bad you will miss the Sunday and Adrian Bay will miss it all :(

As for your painting........You've outdone yourself IMHO.......You've come far mate, you definitely did..........Brilliant colours and fantastic painting on such a SMALL piece.........

Keep them rolling and hope to see you soon.........
