Hello again my friends. Here I am again with another of my recent works. It's a Greek Officer during the Balcan wars in 1912. A figure sculpted my Costas Kariotellis and it was a limited edition piece for the Star club members. The figure is 60-65mm and the sculpting simply amazing. As always it's painted fully in oils over enamels. The chair and the table are made with balsa wood and bamboo sticks and the tree it's from a tree branch. Any comments and critics are welcome.

P.S. now that I check the photos I believe that I will add a few fallen leaves here and there :)

    Hi Xenofon,

Lovely figure mate. I particularly like the little whisp of smoke from his cigarette. The use of a real tree branch adds extra reality to this scene. Well done.

    Looks good,Xenofon.
A few leaves around would look good and that birds nest
    is a nice touch.

Nice work my friend Xenofon . Painting and setup is superb. The only small doubt ihave is the case of at the time that the officer is pictured, if colored maps were available for the Army or only black and white . I am not sure for this , but you can check it for the precisionof the scene. Otherwise trully beautifull work

    Congratulations

Nice work Xenofon, The uniform looks a tricky paint job, being all one colour, but I think you have painted it well
I agree with you and Stiff a few leaves and bits of sticks would give it a more natural setting
    Great job my friend
    Cheers

    Excellent work Xenofon.
I have something to ask: how you did the smoke.
And as usual i have to neatpicking something. The maps is a great touch. But i think they don't have maps with motorways and color on it.
It looks a modern map from greece to me at least it is not 1912.

Thanks a lot for you great critic and comments my friends. I will agree with you regarding the maps... I will change them soon...I will also add leaves on the ground. These touch ups will be done.
Regarding the smome from the cigarrete i added some white glue for woods on the tip of the cigarrete and then a small tuff from cotton glued into place.
