I like this too Peter, I have a bit of a passion of figures portrayed "en campagne"

His head looks a little small or is it just me?

As you did not really ask for comments on the figure I would just like to put out there that keeping the basic armature/anatomy on the smaller will lessen the chance that your figure will "balloon" out when clothing is added. This is what has probably contributed to one feeling the head is small.~Gary

Thanks for the comments guys and the useful tip gary.I have certainly had problems with "small" heads on previous projects and am in the process of re-doing a figure of a US South Carolina coloured infantryman after similar justifyable comments to a previous posting. However in this instance I am quite happy with the size of head in relation to the rest of the figure perhaps it is the blanket roll across the chest that makes the head look small
Finally I am always happy to receive comments /criticism Ithought that was the whole basis of posting on vbench

Peter, I think this project turned out quite nicely. I am working on a zouave right now myself and appreciate seeing similar subjects. Keep up the good work!
