Done, after two months, close to a pound of magicsculp and many hours scouring the interwebs for reference pics, I can finally put this one into the showcase. Naturally, there are bound to be a few inaccuracies here and there, so I hope you will forgive these minor oversights. I did manage to do the loops on the sock braces as particular to the Gordon Highlanders. Please feel free to comment, and many thanks to everyone who were kind enough to leave feedback during the initial sculpting stage.

That's the best large scale conversion I have ever seen. Tremendous job and thanks for the pics.

Thanks to both Steve's! I am glad you like the finished product. This will be the last figure for me for a while, as I am about to start some basement renovations, and part of the plan is to revamp my man-cave/studio. Nothing fancy, some new laminate flooring and a new coat of paint, but it will mean no figures until it's all finished. :(

Very nice work, you wouldn't even know the difference between what the original bust was and your sculpting. Well painted as well.

Just superb. I hope Carl Reid produces a set of legs so that we can all have a crack at this figure.
