Ladies and gentlemen after much procrastination and delay, I finally finished our noble and courageous general, thank you for being so patient.

I tip my hat to Ray Lamb, one of the greatest sculptors of our time and to Poste Militaire for producing such a beautiful figure.

The figure still needs some touch ups and some extreme highlights and shadows

    Hi Roc
He has turneed out very well, like the combination of colours. Did you remember to "Peg" one of the horses legs?
Minor crititism, perhaps the tiger skin saddle cloth could have a bit more colour in it, apart from that you have done a very nice rendition of his fantastic figure
Whats next the standing version by Pegaso of Kato?

    Cheers

Xenofan, thanks, glad you like it.

My method for painting thge gold laquer is very simple.

Base = Testors gold + Brown Madder allizzarin.
    Medium shadows = Burnt Umber.
    Deep shadows = Sepia.
Medium highlight = base + more Testors gold.
    High highlight = pure gold.
Extreme highlight = touches of testors silver on highest extremities of the armor.

    I hope this helps.

    Cheers
    Roc. :)
