Gallipoli 1915

    Hi Guys

    Just thought I would show the progress of this one, there is a little neatening up I need to do and finish the rifle, but its just about there. And I think I may have a better hang of the camera as well, Thanks to Roy......

    Great work on a beuatiful figure!
    This a JMD miniature and the scale is about 65mm to 70mm,with great casting also!!

    Hi Guys

    Thanks you very much the comments are very much appreciated. I have to admit I realy would like to try one or two other JMD figure after getting this at Euro. It was a absolute joy to paint, beautifull sculpting and casting.....

    Tony - He is French Colonial, Senagalese Bugler, in the first uniforms they were issued in the first few of months of the ill fated Gallipoli campaign, they were not realy used in front line but did see action. After a few months the uniform changed to all sand colour cotton uniform. But this one is based on the dark Blue uniform they had been used to (same cut) just a different colour, Sand Brown Jacket and off white trousers, even the badges and trim stayed the same on the uniform.
