    Hey Everybody!

Today while I was waiting for putty to cure on the cowboy, I saw the Andrea bust staring at me on the bench, so I decide to have another go at him. He's painted in Acrylics, and if you want the formula just ask. The pictures came out kind of yellowish, its not quite that bad , other then that Im am pleased with it. Looking at the pics I see some places where it needs to be a little smoother and some refining though. Anyways, here is a pic of the bust as it was before I repainted it.

    Anders,

I think he looks good. I'm still experimenting looking for an acrylic flesh formula I can use on a regular basis. The blending came out real well also so I'll be refering to your photos for some inspiration. I bought some oil paints & will eventually start experimenting with those but I want to get my acrylic technique figured out first. Good job! I hope you post a photo when he's all done.

looks like you have caught it just right.

    Hey Guys!

Thanks for the comments! I agree that the eyes on the first go around are much better, and I keep kicking myself for it.

The camera I am using is the huge Sony Mavica FD92.

Frank, you are right, it is all in the dillution of the paint, and Im stll trying to figure out just excactly what is right!

Will paint the facial details and armor today!
